                               Shark Curry

Shark curry is a beloved dish in many coastal regions, known for its bold flavors and tender meat. Start by cleaning 500g of shark meat and cutting it into chunks. Marinate it with turmeric, salt, and lime juice for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped onions, and sauté until golden.


 Stir in crushed garlic, ginger, green chilies, and tomatoes. Cook until soft. Add 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp turmeric, and salt. Mix well and add coconut milk or water to make a curry base. Bring it to a boil.


 Gently add the marinated shark pieces and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes until the fish is cooked through and tender.


Serve hot with steamed rice or roti for a comforting, spicy meal that showcases the richness of coastal cuisine.
