                                                         Taco Spaghetti


Ingredients:

• 12 oz spaghetti

• 1 lb ground beef

• 1 small onion, diced

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 packet taco seasoning (1 oz)

• 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (10 oz)

• 1/2 cup tomato sauce

• 2 cups water

• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

• 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

• Optional toppings: sour cream, jalapeños, diced avocado

Directions:



1. Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In the same pot, heat a drizzle of oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess grease.

3. Add onion and garlic to the beef and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and softened.

4. Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomato sauce, and water. Bring to a simmer.


5. Add cooked spaghetti back to the pot, tossing to coat in the sauce. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the flavors meld together.

6. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with optional toppings like sour cream, jalapeños, or diced avocado.
