Fish curry is a flavorful and comforting dish enjoyed across many cultures. To make a delicious fish curry, start by selecting fresh, firm fish like tilapia, cod, or mackerel. 

Marinate the fish with turmeric, salt, and lemon juice for 15 minutes. In a pan, heat oil and sauté chopped onions until golden. 

Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and tomatoes, cooking until soft. Mix in spices like turmeric, coriander powder, cumin, and red chili powder. Add water or coconut milk for a rich base, then simmer.

Gently add the marinated fish and cook for 8–10 minutes until the fish is tender and cooked through. Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lemon.

 Serve hot with steamed rice or flatbread. For variations, you can add tamarind pulp for tang or mustard seeds and curry leaves for a South Indian twist. Enjoy your homemade fish curry!
