Prawns gravy is a flavorful seafood delight that pairs perfectly with rice or chapati. To make this dish, start by cleaning 500g of prawns and marinating them with turmeric, salt, and a dash of lemon juice for 15 minutes. 

In a pan, heat oil and sauté chopped onions until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears. Mix in chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook until oil separates.

Add the marinated prawns and cook on medium heat for 5–7 minutes. Pour in 1 cup of water for gravy and simmer for 10 minutes. Finish with a handful of chopped coriander leaves and a splash of coconut milk for extra richness.

Optional variations include adding curry leaves, green chilies, or tamarind paste for regional twists. Serve hot and enjoy this spicy, aromatic dish with your favorite side.
