Chicken Gravy Recipe
Punjabi Chicken Gravy is a rich, flavorful dish loved for its bold spices and creamy texture. Start by marinating 500g chicken with yogurt, turmeric, chili powder, and salt for 30 minutes.
In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat oil or ghee and sauté whole spices like bay leaf, cinnamon, and cloves. Add finely chopped onions and cook until golden brown. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook till aromatic.
Lower the heat, cover, and let it simmer till the chicken is tender. For a creamy touch, stir in fresh cream or butter at the end. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice for a perfect Punjabi feast!
