Garlic Chicken Recipe
Hot Garlic Chicken is a fiery and flavorful Indo-Chinese dish perfect for spice lovers! To make it, begin by marinating 500g boneless chicken (cut into bite-sized pieces) with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp vinegar, salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp cornflour. Let it sit for 20 minutes. Deep-fry or pan-fry until golden and crisp.
In a wok, heat 2 tbsp oil and sauté 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp ginger, and 2 chopped green chilies. Add 1 small chopped onion and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2 minutes. Pour in 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp red chili sauce, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup, and 1 tsp vinegar. Add 1/4 cup water and simmer.
Now, add the fried chicken and toss well. Thicken with a cornflour slurry if needed. Garnish with spring onions and serve hot with rice or noodles. It’s bold, tangy, and irresistibly garlicky!
