Need a quick, comforting dinner? Try this hearty minced meat and potatoes recipe — ready in just 5 minutes of prep!
Start by heating a pan with a little oil. Add 1 chopped onion and sauté until golden. Toss in 250g of minced meat (beef or chicken) and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and a pinch of cumin. Cook until browned. Meanwhile, microwave or boil 2 medium potatoes until tender, then cube them.
Add the potatoes to the pan and stir well. Pour in a splash of water or broth, cover, and simmer for a few minutes so flavors blend. For extra flavor, mix in garlic, herbs, or a dash of soy sauce. Top with chopped parsley or green onions.
