Egg Manchurian Recipe
Egg Manchurian is a mouthwatering Indo-Chinese starter that transforms simple boiled eggs into a spicy, tangy delight. To make it, start by boiling eggs and cutting them into halves.
Lightly coat them with cornflour, salt, pepper, and a pinch of chilli powder, then shallow-fry until crisp and golden. This gives the eggs a lovely bite that pairs perfectly with the bold Manchurian sauce.
For the sauce, heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic, ginger, chopped onions, and green chillies until fragrant. Add capsicum and let it soften slightly. Stir in soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, vinegar, and a splash of water. Season with salt, black pepper, and a pinch of sugar to balance the flavours. Let the sauce thicken, then toss in the fried eggs until they are well coated.
