🥚 Crispy Fried Egg Manchurian Recipe

Ingredients:

For Fried Eggs:

  • 4 boiled eggs (cut into halves or quarters)

  • 3 tbsp cornflour

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)

  • ½ tsp red chili powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Water (as needed)

  • Oil (for deep frying)

For Manchurian Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger

  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 small capsicum (cubed)

  • 2 tbsp spring onion (optional)

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp chili sauce

  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup

  • 1 tsp vinegar

  • ½ tsp black pepper powder

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 tsp cornflour (mixed with 2 tbsp water)

  • Salt to taste


🔥 Instructions:

Step 1: Fry the Eggs

  1. In a bowl, mix cornflour, maida, chili powder, and salt.

  2. Add a little water to make a smooth batter.

  3. Coat the boiled egg pieces in the batter.

  4. Deep-fry until golden and crispy. Set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Manchurian Sauce

  1. Heat oil in a pan or wok.

  2. Add chopped garlic and ginger, sauté till fragrant.

  3. Add onion and capsicum, stir-fry on high flame for 1–2 minutes.

  4. Add soy sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, vinegar, pepper, and salt. Mix well.

  5. Pour in ½ cup water and bring to a boil.

  6. Add the cornflour slurry to thicken the sauce.

Step 3: Combine

  1. Toss in the fried egg pieces and coat well with the sauce.

  2. Garnish with spring onions.
