Garlic Butter Chicken Wings
🔥 Instructions:🍗 Marinate the Chicken:
1. Pierce the chicken wings a few times with a fork.
2. Transfer them to a bowl.
3. Add the grated ginger, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
4. Add 1 tbsp BBQ sauce and 1 tbsp soy sauce.
5. Season with salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes.
6. Add the baking soda and cornstarch.
7. Mix well until the wings are evenly coated.
8. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
🍳 Cook the Wings:
9. Heat cooking oil and butter in a pan.
10. Add the chicken wings.
11. Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally.
12. Leave them undisturbed for 3–4 minutes before flipping.
13. Cook until both sides are golden.
14. Transfer the wings to a plate.
🧄 Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
15. Melt the butter over medium heat.
16. Add the chopped garlic and cook until fragrant.
17. Stir in the BBQ sauce and soy sauce.
18. Mix for a few seconds until well combined.
✨ Finish:
19. Return the wings to the pan.
20. Toss until every wing is evenly coated in the sauce.
21. Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
