Ingredients

For the Chicken:

🍗 Chicken thighs: 1 lb, cut into bite-sized pieces

🧂 Salt & pepper: To taste

🛢️ Olive oil: 2 tbsp

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

🧄 Garlic: 3 cloves, minced

🍯 Honey: 3 tbsp

🌟 Soy sauce: 3 tbsp

🍋 Rice vinegar: 1 tbsp

🌽 Cornstarch: 1 tsp (mixed with 2 tbsp water for slurry)

For the Sides:

🍚 Jasmine rice: 1 cup (uncooked)

🥦 Broccoli florets: 2 cups

Directions

Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer and stir in the cornstarch slurry. Let the sauce thicken for 1–2 minutes.

Combine: Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the honey garlic sauce. Let simmer for another 2 minutes.

Cook the Rice: While the chicken cooks, prepare jasmine rice according to package instructions.
