Beef Braciole Italian
Beef Braciole is a classic Italian dish that’s rich, hearty, and incredibly flavorful. To make it, start with thin slices of flank steak or top round.
Lay them flat and season with salt, pepper, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, parsley, and breadcrumbs. For added flavor, you can also include prosciutto or provolone slices.
Roll the beef tightly and secure with kitchen twine or toothpicks. Brown the rolls in olive oil, then remove them and sauté onions and garlic in the same pan.
Add crushed tomatoes, a splash of red wine, and Italian herbs. Return the beef rolls to the sauce, cover, and simmer on low heat for 1.5 to 2 hours until tender.
Serve the Braciole over pasta, polenta, or mashed potatoes, spooning generous amounts of the rich tomato sauce on top. It’s the ultimate Italian comfort meal — perfect for family dinners or special occasions!
