Creamy Steak Mushroom
Today we're making Creamy Steak Mushroom Pasta. I hope you enjoy it!
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds (680g) flank steak
salt and pepper - to taste
3 tablespoons (45ml) neutral oil
1 pound (454g) fettuccine
1 pound (454g) cremini mushrooms sliced
3 tablespoons (42g) unsalted butter
1 medium onion - diced
1/4 cup (60g) tomato paste
3/4 cup (180ml) bourbon
1/2 cup (120ml) low-sodium beef stock
1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
2 cups (480ml) reserved pasta water - will most likely not need it all
1/2 cup (45g) grated Parmigiano Reggiano
1/4 cup minced flat-leaf Italian parsley
